Valentina Pavarotti

Arrivata a Bruxelles nel 2009, dopo un master a Londra, lavora per Mostra, agenzia di Comunicazione che collabora con le istituzioni europee, nel frattempo ha seguito la sua passione giornalistica e ha frequentato l’executive master in European Journalism, presso la scuola di giornalismo di Bruxelles Institut des Hautes Etudes des Communicationes Sociales.Ha collaborato con Euractiv.it seguendo le notizie europee da Bruxelles, attualmente è co-conduttrice del programma radio “Indovina chi viene a cena” su Radio Alma, una radio bruxellese. Appassionata di fotografia.Ha realizzato insieme a Francesca Polistina e Irene Giuntella il video “Italians, Belgians or Europeans?” sull’immigrazione italiana in Belgio da Marcinelle ai giorni nostri, pubblicato da Il Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, L’Unità e Eunews.it. Con lo stesso team ha realizzato anche un altro video “Walter Tobagi: la forza delle Parole”.

Irene Giuntella

I arrived in Brussels for an internship at the European Parliament in 2011 , after that I returned to Rome for about one year. Then I decided to move again to Brussels in September 2012 to attend and Executive Master in European Journalism at the Journalism School in Brussels Institut Des Etudes Des Communicationes Sociales ( IHECS), combining my interest in European Affairs and journalism. I am actually a contributor writer from Brussels at the website of Il Sole 24 Ore, a newspaper in Italy and Eastonline, the website of the geopolitical magazine East, where I cover EU affairs, news from Belgium, social issues, immigration, employment, and human rights. In the past I have been contributor writer also for Eunews, West and Termometro Politico from Brussels. While I started to write my first article for the local newspapers in Rome Il Nasone di Prati and Cinque Giorni. The final thesis of my executive master was a written investigation and a video documentary on Italian immigration to Belgium after the second world war until nowadays “Italians, Belgians or Europeans?”. I worked at then EU Development days 2015, organized from the EU Commission, as a video journalist, interviewing speakers with different background and being supervisor of the video editing of the videos.

Arrivata a Bruxelles per uno stage nel 2011 al Parlamento Europeo, tornata a roma per un anno è  poi riapprodata a Bruxelles nel settembre 2012 per frequentare l’executive master in European Journalism  presso la scuola di giornalismo di Bruxelles Institut des Hautes Etudes des Communicationes Sociales, conciliando così il suo interesse per l’Europa e il giornalismo. Ha iniziato scrivendo per un giornale di quartiere il Nasone di Prati e per un quotidiano freepress Cinque Giorni su Roma e Provincia. Da Bruxelles ha collaborato con i giornali online Eunews.it e Termometro Politico, ricoprendo notizie europee con particolare riguardo alle questioni sociali, diritti umani e immigrazione. Attualmente collabora con il sito del Sole 24 Ore  e West sempre da Bruxelles. Ha realizzato insieme a Francesca Polistina e Valentina Pavarotti il video “Italians, Belgians or Europeans?” sull’immigrazione italiana in Belgio da Marcinelle ai giorni nostri, pubblicato da Il Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, L’Unità e Eunews.it. Con lo stesso team ha realizzato anche un altro video “Walter Tobagi: la forza delle Parole”.
